All the prediction and all the so called versions of our future you've read, are still just guesses or versions of our parallel universe. Which version would you like to see? I've come to learn and 'believe' that we are all individually living in a parallel universe, quantum science is now begin to realise that our 'reality' can only be termed as a holographic universe. They have found that when an atom is being observed (whether by human eye looking at an object or a camera to record it's action) it will behave differently. Everything we see and feel are nothing more than a reflection within our consciousness. All the people that interact with us are a part of ourselves but manifested from within, because our consciousness is the very creation and the 'reflection' is nothing by our creation 'observed' by our mind. In fact we ARE divine consciousness at play, each one of us playing the game of life. If you could grasp this, then you are already free from the 'rules' of the game, you'll become the 'observer', watching the 'beauty' and 'wonder' of our imagination and creation.
The space IS empty, nothing ever happened, as these are all part of the 'grand illusion', look back to our 'history', it is nothing more than an imagination or a faint 'imprint' of the story that we telling ourselves. Even as recent as 10 minuets ago, it will become the same as 'event' that supposed to have happened. So does it matter if this happened 10 million years ago or 5 minuets ago? Look further, then you see that everyone within your world including me are a part of your imagination, and you are a part of me within my imagination. We have connected here because we are coming closer to the 'rules of engagement' of our 'game'.
If you could contemplate on this, you will then fully understand the workings of this holographic reality. I'm content to know what I wrote above is the best that I expressed so far, as sometimes it is not possible to put it in words. The more we meditate or contemplate on this, the more we come to understand the 'core' or the 'real' meanings behind life.
So this literally means that you ARE the only God and the only consciousness that ever existed, what I'm telling you here are just to be used as reference only and must not taken as gospel, as that is where and why religion is the illusion that they are. When you're uncertain about yourself, you look outward to search for clues, when you awake and aware you look within for all the answers. I never use to understand the meaning of this, now I do 'fully' :)
I hope we can see 'mind to mind', a nod as an acknowledgment that you and I and everyone around us are in fact the 'same' thing in disguise, there are no one outside of 'you'.
