Black out party @ Kiss clun (Germany/France

On December 9Th i flight on the France/Germany border for the Riddim prod Black out party.This party is taking place 1 time per month and bring other 1000 peoples in Kiss clubConcept :The black out party concept is simple but working realy hard : around 1 o'Clock when the party is starting to be crazy, all the light of the club will be shut off. The only light will be the one of the lightning and fluorescent goodies that all the people in the club wearing, Goodies who were offer to each people at the entrance.In that athmosphere i was Djing with some lightning bracelet in the Dj booth a bit on top of everybody and throw some club, and hip hop tunes all night, after an opening from my friends Dj Talrie, and Dj Guen Da Paul.Event Pictures

The Council Spend 1 day with DJ Jazzy Jeff in ShanghaiShanghai Pudong Airport, Friday December 2nd, 2pmDj Choyce Kutz, Dj B-kut and myself are just in time to pick up Dj Jazzy Jeff and his crew. Mc Mad Skillz – his MC, Darnell – his tour manager, Dwayne - his bodyguard and Beans – his videographer who is making a documentary of the whole Asia tour. The tour takes 3 Weeks; all over Asia with more than 15 shows. Shanghai is the second on the list after Hong Kong where they had a pretty crazy time performing with Snoop and Dr. Dre.Back to the AirportThey spot us right away because we are the only 3 foreigners wearing caps at the airport.After getting introduced and some small talk about the flight and the newly released Jordan 3’s black/cement, we splitted into 2 groups and drove back to the city center. We had booked them at one of Shanghai's best Boutique hotels on the Bund, Indigo.First Tweet of Jazzy Jeff after a few minutes in China:“Wow…No FB…Twitter or Youtube in Shanghai??? While waiting to get checked into their rooms Mad Skillz was just throwing out jokes non-stop to Jazzy Jeff. The atmosphere was really chill and friendly. All of a sudden Jazzy Jeff noticed the music in the backround and started to sing to it. Then he said “I did a remix of that song a long time ago". I didn’t know that track so I used Shazam to get the song title: “ No use” by Jazzanova. B-Kut looked at me and said “ That’s when you recognize a REAL DJ, he knows everything!”. No doubt….We gave them some Hip Hop Hjack T-shirts as gifts and went to the rooms with Darnell. They loved the Rooms and the Asian Flair in it. We stopped by Jazzy Jeff’s suite. He was lying on his bed with a view on the Pudong Skyline. But actually, they were more impressed about the numbers of boats on the Huangpu river than the Skyline! Jazzy Jeff and his Crew were full of energy because they didn’t have a show the night before. They wanted to do some sightseeing and shopping. So we took them to Plaza 66 where the offices of Nike and Converse are. They welcomed Jazzy Jeff with some gifts and took some pictures with him. We invited everybody to our party that night to see Jazzy Jeff’s Show at Zeal.After some shopping on Nanjing Road we took them back to Indigo to get relaxed and have dinner before the show. We advised them to go to Char. It is a Premium Steakhouse inside the Hotel and after seeing Jazzy Jeff’s Blog, it seems like he enjoyed it:Jazzy Jeff at Converse HQ

While they were getting ready, Choyce Kutz, B-Kut and myself went to Zeal where Hip Hop Hijack already started. The place was getting fuller with every minute and the atmosphere was bumping.11.30pmTime was running quick and I had to go to Hotel Indigo to pick them up. After a quick stop at BRIX for pictures and signatures, we finally made it to Zeal and what happened then was just unrealistic. Everyone notices Jazzy Jeff and the crowd erupts into a standing ovation for the Legend! The crowd was so excited, everyone was screaming his name and actually the way he entered kinda reminded me of a Boxing Fighter Intro. People brought things wishing he would sign them, and there was even someone waving a record of Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince in the air.12.37amTime to set the place on Fire! Choyce Kutz finished his set, then Mad Skillz gave a proper intro to his DJ and the man everyone came to see: The Magnificent DJ Jazzy Jeff. Jazzy Jeff’s set was amazing! If you ever get the chance to stand next to him while he is spinning you will see how much of an artist he is. Just Flawless….it was unbelievable! He went from Newschool to Oldschool from Hip Hop to Rock. The Chemistry between him and Mad Skillz was incredible. You could tell that they have been working together for years and really know how to involve the crowd into the show.After his showhe took time for his fans and signed stuff and took pictures with everyone. After all these years he is still very open and down to earth. Unfortunately they had to go back to the hotel and rest before their early flight to Singapore. Meanwhile, the Hip Hop Hijack Crew kept rocking the crowd at Zeal til dawn.7amIt was time for them to go to the airport and say goodbye to the freshest 24hours with Jazzy Jeff and his Crew.
