    Dear Everyone

    Just want to wish you all a happy Year of the TIGER. I am so proud of all the athletes that participated in Vancouver's Winter Olympics. My eyes have been glued to the tv set the past few days. I am so amazed by each of their commitment to excellence, their dedication and their courage in following their dreams. Even after endless hours and days of training, there is still that unexpected element and circumstance which challenges them as they take their turn to perform. I can't imagine how focused they have to be in order to override all distractions, obstacles and the unexpected, in order to give their best in that very short window of time. I am learning so much from them.
    I am also proud of the increasing presence of the Asian athletes. It seemed to me this time, the number has grown from last Winter Olympics. What a wonderful picture! Only reaffirms to me that there is no boundary to excellence.

    I hope this new picture will also be reflected in the entertainment industry in the States.

    Wishing you all a happy healthy and magical Year of the TIGER and a toast to all of our dreams come true.

    Knowing how much these athletes sacrifice to get to the Olympics makes me appreciate their accomplishment all the more.  They do it for the love of the game and the competition.  It is a joy to watch.  The US is such a rich country but they do very little to support these athletes.  We helped support a local wrestler going to the summer games in Athens.  He had to do personal fundraisers to get there.   But I do not know if I would want to change that.  It kind of keeps the games more pure.

    Happy CNY to you Elizabeth.  Looking forward to a great 2010.

    The Olympics bring out so much courage and dedication from the athletes as well as humbleness in efeat and tears in success, they give us much inspiration.
