Alright, finally found the courage to come back out and do an open mic this coming Sunday.  May the AnD Beijing force be with me!

It has been awhile now, ok less than 2 months, but it feels like a long time since I last blogged.  To be honest, since I set foot here in Beijing, I haven't really touched much of music.  Main reason is becasuse of work.  But also, and this is the sad part, when I left Hong Kong, I felt I was a bit too consumed in the music making process.  I ended up feeling depress and I wanted to be good at everything and I wanted to play just so that I can improve and it got to a point where it was just all about improving.  In the end, I just lost it, the fun of picking up the guitar when I was 13 was ALL GONE.

In that respect, maybe moving to Beijing is a good thing.  I've only touched the acoutic a few times and I haven't really practice.  I'm slowly researching on bars and live venues, but I'm deliberately taking my time. There maybe that odd 1/2 occassions where certain melody or lyrical ideas come up, but I just brushed them off.

I don't know, it's weird.  It's not like I'm giving up or anything.  But I think the music is taking a backseat and with the new work and all, there's only so much bandwidth of activities that I can handle all at once.

Yeah I should rest.  I'm not ready.

1 thing is for sure, which is AnD will always be the medium where I can express myself freely as an Artist.  The other voices on Twitter, Facebook are other vocies as well of the same character.  But which one is real?
