  • "爱爱爱" ("love love love") Khalil Fong's voice :)

    Last weekend I went to see Khalil Fong (方大同) in concert. He's got this soothing, soulful voice that I could just keep listening to over and over whether he's singing in Mandarin or English, and he sounds awesome live as well. I first heard his songs a few years back when hubby bought his album after randomly listened to his songs at a listening station at HMV.

    Here's a few of my favorite songs of his (mostly his older songs cuz that's the style I'm into more)...

  • "FOG" Production Stills

    Two years ago, Kit Hui filmed her movie "Fog" (starring Terence Yin and Eugenia Yuan) in Hong Kong, and I had the pleasure of shooting the production stills during the filming. It was a fantastic experience for me, I really enjoyed being a part of the production, and of course I had a great time getting to know a lot of the cast and crew during the long hours of filming and setup. Some of the cast (and even the crew) happened to be AnD artists as well, including Phat Chan and Gloria Wong... so If you catch the movie, you may recognize many familiar faces from this site.

    I'm very excited that "Fog" will be premiering at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival this year and will be showing tonight at the Sundance Kabuki Theater, which I'm glad I'm still in town and able to attend, as well as additional screenings throughout the week. Check it out if you can!

    Hi Ivy!!!~ Happy New Year!! Hope all is well.
    Yea, I was in HK for the holidays but back in SF already. It was a short 10 days. hahaa.. Sorry I didn't get any time to meet up with you. The 10 days went by in a flash. But I am hoping for another visit sometime this year too. We should meet up. :)

    Happy holidays, Ivy. How are you working out the motherhood thing? So many things to learn and so much to fret over, and yet so much joy. :-) I marveled over my first one all the time I thought I was becoming quite silly myself. haha. Best wishes for you and yours in 2011 and beyond.
