  • The beautiful autumn leaves in Eikando Temple

    I visited to Eikando Temple which is famous for the beautiful colored leaves alone yesterday.

    Eikando Temple has become synonymous with autumn color of leaves, and in autumn many Japanese and tourists from abroad enjoy viewing the leaves change colors... Even if the Temple is far from the train stations, there were many people there!





    Maybe it was the first time that I had seen such a beautiful place. I got tired from walking... but I could have a great time enjoying beautiful scenery and breathe good air.

  • Asari gohan (あさりごはん) and Oden (おでん)

    I had asari gohan and oden last night for dinner.



    I don't know what it's called in English, but " Asari " means " clam " in English.




    "Oden" is a typical Japanese dish, many different foods such as vegetables, white radish and konnyaku are boiled together in a large pot with a soup seasoned with soy sauce. It's suitable for colder seasons. Many Japanese often eat it in winter because we can buy it even at convenience stores !
    I especially like daikon (white radish)and eggs...


    By the way, the manager's husband may pass away soon because he has a serious disease right now. She has been off work for nine days in a row. Considering her feeling, I don't know what to say...
    I'm pretty busy with work lately, because I have to do the work of 2 men.

    I'm confused about my feelings, but I'll go to Eikando Temple to see the autumn colors this weekend anyway.

  • Manpukuji Temple (萬福寺)

    I visited Manpukuji Temple (萬福寺)with my sister on Nov. 3.
    Manpukuji Temple is about a five-minute walk from JR or Keihan Obaku (黄檗) stations. And it's a broad temple...



    I took some pics like this in the temple, but there was a man who gave me a strange look while I'm taking those pics... Yes, I don't wonder that he thinks it strange !



    I added some pics to my album. If you're interested in those pics, see it ! (no frogs) 

    Well, I'm planning to go to Eikando Temple (永観堂) to enjoy the autumn colors late this month because I need to be alone and enjoy my time sometimes. If I take some pics there, I'll be sharing them with you all.

    New frog arrived at my house a week later than I expected because the variety goods shop's staff has made a mistake. I don't know why but the shop's staff canceled my first order, so I had to reorder it...
    I could get the frog finally. Of course, I have no intention of attacking them !



    This herringbone frog is now on sale in Japan for a limited time.




    This floral design frog went on sale last year... after a moment of hesitation, I took the frog to the counter. haha



    Yes, each year the number of my frogs is on the increase...

    I'm not a sign maker. Nevertheless, I had to make some large signs of my company's two restaurants alone. I have had a really busy week this week...I'm really tired.

    Putting that aside, I guess you can figure out who he is, without any explanations!





    Yes, he is best known for his role as "Mr. Bean." Rowan is one of my favorite actors...
    Oh, If I remember correctly, this time last year the movie was suspended for his sudden illness. He is all right now?

    I heard a rumor that the movie "Johnny English Reborn" is scheduled to be released early next year in Japan ! In this movie, he works with Gillian Anderson who is famous for her role as Dana Scully in TV series "X- files". I can hardly wait to see it !!!

    わかるかどうかなのだけど、paypalでフレイム？だっけ6ヶ月分を支払いしたのだけど、一度2回分一度に支払いがかかったことがあって、おかしいんだけどとめーるしたら、今度はずーっと3ヶ月毎に支払いをキャンセルされる状態が続いているの。
    支払うの辞めたいんだけどどうしたら良いかわからなくて。実際支払いは発生してないんだけど、気持ち悪いのね。うーん、しばらく離れてたらよくわからなくなっちゃった。
