Voted as one of FHM`s top 100 sexiest women for her heavenly body, Joyce Star Tan is proof that good things do come in small packages.

Besides being a talented ACTRESS, experienced HOST, as well as commercial MODEL, Joyce adds PRODUCER and fashion / beauty / travel / lifestyle WRITER, even dabbles in singing, art and interior design to her multi-faceted repertoire of creative skills. Whatever role she takes on, she puts her heart and soul into it.

The embodiment of fun and spontaneity, Joyce’s natural style and intelligence shines through in all her magazine features including Clam Magazine, Her World, CLEO, Female, NÜYOU, T3, and an 8-page feature for FHM Singapore and Thailand.

Joyce’s commercial mass appeal, exotic Chinese Peranakan looks and distinctive features led to her being chosen for various regional and local TV, radio commercials plus print ads such as McDonald’s, Coca Cola, H.B.O. Asia.

From there, hosting opportunities opened up. Her live hosting expertise includes high fashion events for clients like Lancome during the Singapore Fashion Festival, Loewe and Maurice Lacroix, amongst many others. She even hosted in both English and Mandarin for the Singapore Chingay "Asia's grandest street and floats parade".

Her passion for music motivated Joyce to produce her own web show `jbabytwinkleSTAR` where she hosted using her nickname J-STAR. Establishing fast rapport with the celebrities interviewed was key to her great on-screen chemistry with international rockstars such as pop punk band Cobra Starship and 2007’s Best New Artiste Gym Class Heroes, and many more.

She was offered the lead female role Pamela Chan in her stage debut Threesome (a tribute to the movie Chasing Amy by Kevin Smith) directed by Lionel Chok, despite never having done theatre before at the time. However, she rose to the challenge and it was then the acting bug bit her. After taking an acting course at NYU Tisch School of Arts, Joyce then went on to appear on television series REM The Next Generation Season 2 playing the female villain Bonnie in episode ten. Followed by more lead roles in an international short film Wild Card and another play Kiss.

Glamorous with a touch of the whimsical, sweet and sexy, a beauty with brains, Joyce is an eclectic mix of versatility and diversity, compacted into a petite frame and a dynamic package.
