POST PRODUCTION

Late last week Bey Logan and I decided that all of the post production work on The Blood Bond would be done in Hong Kong. There was originally some discussion of doing post here in Los Angeles. Due to the minimal budget of the film, post production in Los Angeles turned out to not be viable. What this means is that I will have little participation in the editing,sound and music aspects of the film. Although i was originally disappointed with the decision to do post in Hong Kong,I have full confidence in Beys' ability to tell the story and edit the action sequences in a way that I originally envisioned. Bey will be sending me a rough cut for my notes and I am sure will try to include me in all decisions important to The Blood Bond. Thank you all for your support. Tell your friends to get on the imdb boards about this project.

I would like to thank Bey for giving me the opportunity to write and direct a film that I feel passionate about. Again, I thank you for your support

I would like to thank Patrick for all the support he has shown me and the movie that I was working on in China. I have always been a huge fan of rottentomatoes.com so when i met Patrick and realized he created that site I felt i like I was meeting a rock star. i would like to take this opportunity to communicate to any fan who is interested in me or The Blood Bond. I so appreciate your support. I will do my best to answer questions on this blog and keep everybody updated on the progress of The Blood Bond. Shortly I will post a blog describing the making of The Blood Bond from my own perspective. The ups and downs. The frustrations and the exhilaration. It was a very interesting 10 weeks. i love the chinese people. They worked so hard to help me make this film. Michael Biehn was born on July 31, 1956 in Anniston, Alabama, grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, and at age 14 moved with his family to Lake Havasu, Arizona, where he won a drama scholarship to the University of Arizona. He left prematurely two years later to pursue an acting career in Hollywood. His first big role was as a psychotic fan stalking Lauren Bacall in The Fan (1981) and later appeared in The Lords of Discipline (1983). He hit the big-time when he was cast as Kyle Reese, the man sent back through time to stop Arnold Schwarzenegger in James Cameron's The Terminator (1984). This established a good working relationship with Cameron, a relationship that should have catapulted Biehn to international stardom. He starred in Cameron's subsequent films, Aliens (1986) and The Abyss (1989), the latter a standout performance as unstable Navy SEAL officer Lt. Hiram Coffey. In the 1990s he starred in films like Navy Seals (1990), K2 (1991) and was particularly memorable as Johnny Ringo in Tombstone (1993). Biehn is the father of four sons.His significant other is actress Jennifer Blanc. He just made his directorial debut on The Blood Bond.
